Imaxia
introduces a new
product,
ArrayFox,
for
Microarray analysis
A
powerful tool for scientists and researchers in Bioinformatics
Cupertino, CA - (September 2002) Imaxia
Corporation announced ArrayFox,
an advanced software product for analysis of Microarray
images. Like its highly regarded GelFox
product for analysis of 2D Electrophoresis, ArrayFox speeds up
the process and improves the accuracy in the tedious tasks of
comparing and analyzing patterned images.
Using some of the same proprietary
algorithms as GelFox but with different application, ArrayFox
simplifies the complex and labor-intensive task of analyzing
thousands of colored spots in profusions of patterns.
With simple point-and-click actions, ArrayFox offers a
variety of sophisticated functions that help researchers
extract the information needed in Microarray techniques.
A sample of the features and benefits of
ArrayFox:
- Rapid
auto spots identification and quantification
- Auto
grid alignment, even for deformed and less than perfect
arrays
- Easy
grid format design supporting most commercial arrays
- Supports
popular array modalities such as fluorescent, luminescent
and isotopic arrays
- Batch
process mode for high throughput
- Convenient
spot labels and gene names import
- Comprehensive
background subtraction abilities and normalization methods
- Output
reports in Excel format for further data analyses
The current beta version of ArrayFox is being distributed at
no cost to qualified Microarray researchers for testing.
